Cultural Harmony in Tune: Oyster Hub Celebrates Harmony Week with Musical Fusion
There are countless ways to celebrate Harmony Week – from intimate gatherings with friends to larger community events. For Oyster Hub, an Australian accounting firm dedicated to supporting startups and small businesses, music was the chosen language of celebration.
In partnership with the Western Sydney Startup Hub, Oyster Hub organized an event where a diverse array of races and cultures converged. Oyster Hub’s founder, Adarsh Dutt, showcased his musical talent by playing the tabla, a pair of hand drums used to play classic Hindustani tunes, to introduce Indian music. Meanwhile, Judith of Judith tan Design serenaded the audience with the violin, adding a touch of Western Jazz to the mix.
Celebrating Diversity through Music: Harmony Week at Oyster Hub
The event featured a fantastic lineup of music enthusiasts, each bringing their unique style to the stage. From cultural beats to soulful melodies, the music resonated with the rich diversity present in Western Sydney.
Beyond the vibrant festivities, the Harmony Week celebration at Oyster Hub provided an opportunity for everyone to come together, share stories, and learn from one another. Conversations about the significance of embracing diversity were held, fostering stronger bonds within the community.
Embracing Multiculturalism: Oyster Hub's Commitment to Inclusivity
Harmony Week served as a reminder of the beauty of Australia’s multicultural landscape. By embracing different cultures and perspectives, communities become more inclusive and vibrant, benefiting each individual.
Oyster Hub, along with its affiliates Oyster Care – an NDIS provider for individuals with disabilities – and Oyster Tribe – an organization dedicated to bridging the gap between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians – stand in solidarity with every Australian celebrating Harmony Week.
Together, the Oyster Group synergistically leverages their respective expertise to work towards a common goal of building a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
